Our Giant Insects are at the North Carolina Arboretum!
On display September 24 – January 8, 2017 inside the Baker Exhibit Center, see everyday insects up close and personal at The World of Giant Insects. Straight from your own backyard, this exhibit explores familiar bugs and their environments through six giant-sized insect displays, including a praying mantis and caterpillar, interactive displays and educational materials, including a “Bug Bytes” quiz box.
Produced by Kokoro exhibits, The World of GiantInsects was designed in collaboration with prominent entomologists to ensure scientific accuracy and is engineered to ensure maximum engagement for all children.
